Red Rash From Underwear

Anniversary-Century War-

"Although Joe Haldeman fought in Vietnam, he was not convinced either the desirability of war, nor the institution of the army in general. After returning home he wrote a book inspired by memories of war, putting the plot in a sci-fi scenery. Comic adaptation of the novel bearing the same title as the book Eternal War was drawn by Marv, a bit younger than Haldeman, a Belgian artist. All three albums were released in Poland in the magazine "Comic" associated with the monthly "Fiction" (numbers: 1990/nr 3; 1991/nr 10; 1991/nr 12).
comics, like the book "has a strong anti-war nature. Her hero is the man selected by the state and put strength of the army of starting a war with the unknown, newly discovered alien civilization. The army is portrayed primarily as a soulless body, breaking any existing rules and creating in their place their own rigid rules, often nonsensical, and even more simply inhumane. A large dose of irony mitigates somewhat bleak content, which does not change the fact that the reflections arising from a reading does not belong to najweselszych. "
Konrad (Konrad) Grzegorzewicz

recently found this comic on the web, I remember how I first read it while somewhere in the 5th grade primary school, many of the concepts, which the author has used just do not understand.

Now read it again, enjoy a dramatic realistic which dominates in this comic.
